Just passing along what I've gotten from others. And yes, what few "recipes" I have, I certainly will share...if anyone ever asks for them!
I'm not much of a cook, but I can bake a few things...nothing fancy, though. Hugs to you!BECKYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15184458949017900541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8047934029762798489.post-70199762654197449062012-11-21T09:07:42.744-08:002012-11-21T09:07:42.744-08:00I've always thought there was something vaguel...I've always thought there was something vaguely suspicious about people who won't share recipes. What else are they hiding? They never have to worry I'll make it as well as they will, anyway, because as I've heard you say before, the key to good cooking is in the love you put in. And I don't love to cook. I just love to eat. It also helps if your ingredients are aged in caves you keep in your basement or farmed fresh by little Tibetan monks like SOME people I know.Tammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02141883867104777688noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8047934029762798489.post-87766590507252191102012-11-21T09:05:35.749-08:002012-11-21T09:05:35.749-08:00I hated sweet potatoes as a kid. ...I happily share recipes, except on one occasion.

One time I mentioned my grandmother's chocolate chiffon pie. It's my favorite. It's easy, light and relatively "healthy," compared with other rich desserts.

The person I mentioned it to did not ask for the recipe, and I did not offer it, because if I did, that person would have whipped one up for me...that's the kind of person she is. She finds out your favorite color, and then crafts something in that color. She finds your favorite tea or dessert, and voila!--there it is for you to enjoy.

Most of the time the recipe I share is my five minute fudge, and I give it to complete strangers that I pass on the street because I want to share the madness.

Yes Lynn, you're quite generous with your recipes AND you're the person I was talking about in the third paragraph...

Have a superb holiday with your family.Sioux Roslawskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17924021828536277618noreply@blogger.com
