DIFFERENCE

The difference between an artist who is mediocre and who is great is in the amount one practices. Right now I’m mediocre (at best), but I have lots of practice to do. I may never be great, but I will get better. And that’s okay.

  1. And Lynn, do you enjoy doing your artwork? That is what is important to me. If I never write the next great American novel, if I don't become a well known writer, am I enjoying the writing process?

    Yes. Yes, I do.

So if art gives you pleasure, like cooking and journaling and writing does, continue with it.
