Book Blurb Friday #9

Just want to say thanks to the new followers! I appreciate it.

It’s Book Blurb Friday #9. Hosted by Lisa Ricard Claro, write a book blurb jacket in 150 words based on the photo (this one by her daughter, Christina Claro). Head to Lisa’s blog for BBF directions.

What? 49 words:

Through Her Glasses

Obermoeller’s mother always told her she looked at life through rose colored glasses. She didn’t get it since she never wore glasses. But as Obermoeller moved into adulthood—her vision more clear—those rose colored glasses turned blue. Read the colorful memoir where one sees more than rose.

  1. I'd read this memoir...Pollyanna was never my cup of tea.

  2. Obermoeller is a multi-faceted person, for certain. I like your references and the fact that you got my attention with so few words. I need to take lessons from you. I'm way too wordy. You're able to say what you want to say succinctly, and that's a gift.

  3. short, sweet, clever and to-the-point! Well done!

thanks for the comments on the postcards, I can't kick the sweet tooth now and I think I do like the Russian stamps more than the card too, although I looovveee food! heheh

  4. More. I want more! Can you write this book, please? Loved it.

  5. Ooh, blue glasses . . . her memoir will be worth reading, I'm sure;-)

  6. Lynn! This is truly great. I went with a tint of rose-color myself. "Colorful Memoir" really caught my attention too.

  7. Those colorful memoirs are the best ones! ;) Very nice.

  8. Lots of attention-grabbing in a few words. Well done!

  9. Makes me want to open the book and start reading - even before I've pad for it. :D Well done and in surprisingly few words.

Thanks for commenting. I don't always comment back, but I do appreciate it.
