Day 31 thru Day 40 (rest of January)

The days have been busy, but I manage to get to the Post Office every day, however, I did miss one day as you will see…

Day 31 – P.O. Box was empty

Day 32 – No mail in box

Day 33 – Again no letters in post office box

Day 34 – One letter from a special friend

Day 35 – Believe it or not, I missed going this day. My son was helping me with something and by the time I finished, the post office was closed.

Day 36 – One letter from another special friend (aka my pen-pal)

Day 37 – Zero letters

Day 38 – Zippo letters

Day 39 – Empty mail box

Day 40 (last day in January) - One letter - and what a way to end the end of the month with my pen-pal letter!!!

I'm slowly, but surely responding back to all those who have left an address and want to thank you all for your generous time in writing! I wonder what February will bring... stay tuned.

Day 28, 29 and 30

Day 28 – No letters

Day 29 – Two letters

These two letters came from special people in my life. Thank you.

Day 30 – Empty box

As of this date, I have received 64 letters! Amazing! And I’ve only had time to write about 13 back…

Hope everyone is writing letters to those they love.

Day 25, 26, & 27

Day 25 – Two letters

Day 26 – Zero letters

Day 27 – Two letters

I feel like I’m boring just reporting on my letter count. But trust me, I am not bored at all and I don’t mean to diminish what it means when I see a letter in the PO Box. I’m thrilled! I love going to the post office. I’m usually dropping in a letter, so the trip is never wasted.

And don’t forget, those who have left an address, I do plan to write.  Right now, I’ve received 60 letters so far. Can you believe it? I’m so lucky and so blessed. This gift just keeps on giving.

Day 21 thru 24

Day 21 I received four letters... one is a postcard, but it's still mail with written words on it! I'm showing the opposite side--I can color it. See it on the left (it's upside down in the photo), but it's a bird.

Day 22 zero

Day 23 one letter
Day 24 one letter

It’s always a surprise finding a piece of mail.

On the way home, the car in front of me and on the opposite side of the street were stopped to let a family of geese go by.

It’s always an adventure going to the Post Office!

One letter – yippee!!!

Thank you, thank you!

Day 16, and 17

It's the New Year 2018, hope it is going well for everyone.

Tuesday, January 2 aka Day 16
Couldn't believe there were five letters in the box.  Two were from my daughter... she's such a stinker. I think she worries that I won't get any more mail or something.

And three were from "strangers" - (also #'s 13, 29 and 40).  I have a feeling that I will, before the year is over, receive all 60 of those numbered envelopes. However, if not, that's okay. I'm just thrilled with what I've received so far!  Woot-woot!

 Day 17 - zero letters.

Write a letter - doesn't have to be to me. Think of someone you love or haven't spoken with in a long time, and write them a letter.  They will love it!
