Watching my cat eye two squirrels munch on acorns is kind of funny. I wonder if he thinks they are over-sized chipmunks. Those squirrels devour nuts faster than my brother-in-law shovels down his dinner.
Oh yeah... NaNo writing for the day, 2,233. Total word count: 36,736. Can I really babble for another 13,264 words? I'm sure hubby will have to say yes to that one.
Did I mention I shot off an article for submission, thanks to my writing buds.
Yay for you, Lynn! Hey, thank you for the book; I'll get your check mailed off in the morning (sorry that I'm tardy). Also, I will highlight the book on my blog soon. Just got home, I can't wait to read your story about Geoffrey.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kathy M.
My dogs are squirrel chasers, but they've never caught one. And we have a chipmunk that lives in our retaining wall in the rear of the house and he drives the dogs nuts! He's such a little guy, but he teases the dogs. LOL Keep up your NaNo writing!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your continued success with NaNoWriMo, and also on your newly submitted article. You inspire me!
ReplyDeleteGee, I wonder which brother-in-law you referred to?! That's great about submitting an article. Be sure to let us know what you find out. You are always so modest in your successes, and I love letting people know how accomplished you are.
ReplyDeleteKathy, no worries about the check, I know you're good for it :-)
ReplyDeleteLisa, I've told a few folks about Smeagol and the chipmunks. Plan to post that some day... ah but NaNo is kicking my booty.
Victoria - thanks, I need all the encouragement I can get!
Suzanne - yeah, I wonder... and thanks for your support.
