My blogger friend, Lisa Ricard Claro - Writing in the Buff - is holding a weekly writing challenge. In 150 words or less, create a title for a book along with a blurb - Lisa provides the photo.
So here is my lame attempt (and in 44 words):
Title: Be Your Own Private ‘Eye’
Why pay someone big bucks to spy for you? Learn what the professional private investigators know. Obermoeller shares her 25 years of experience that will save you money but gives you the same results. And see if someone might be spying on you!
Tee hee!! I'm loving this!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter is tickled, too. That pic is one of hers (she's a budding photographer, among other things) and she thinks it's cool that her eye...it is...literally...her eye (yikes! I sound like Captain Kirk!) is making the rounds with so many different stories.
Thanks for playing along!
Excellent! I'm off to be my own investigator right now! Good one.
ReplyDeleteI love it! Mine was only just over 50 words, so I shall follow suit and post it up, too :O)
ReplyDeleteOMG. That was NOT lame! I loved it.
ReplyDeleteLynn, This is great. You're hired!
ReplyDeleteThis was short but very effective!Good blub.
ReplyDeleteShort and sweet...just like you, Lynn!! Good job!!
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks everyone and for the new peeps that took a look! You're all way too kind!
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn, I like it! Hey, thanks for buying the giraffe card ... please email me your address at: oregongiftsofcomfortandjoy@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteThank you so much.
I didn't realize till I read this that it looks like she is looking through a keyhole! You're much more observant than I am. Nice!
ReplyDeleteSpying came to my mind too, but the eye itself scared me more-lol! I had a hard time stretching mine out to around the 140 mark too-I have to start looking at some book jackets...
ReplyDeleteBTW-thanks for the follow!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to do something with a peephole, and what that green eye saw when they spied on someone, but couldn't come up with anything, so I did something different. I'm glad you went where I could not...
ReplyDeleteOh very good Lynn!
ReplyDeleteI reckon this book would sell like hot cakes!
I love the huge range of books inspired by this photo!
:Dom
oooh very short and clever! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI'm blogsurfing and came by way of the Book Blurb Friday. I love that your blog takes the form of letters to your mum.
best wishes,
Grace
Sort of an "Eye Spy" tell all!
