  1. Well done, Lynn, way to keep at it. I'm still on track, but I must admit, I'm struggling a bit without any breaks. The past few days I've been a bit short of my daily picture goal, but my earlier pic-heavy days gave me a cushion, so I'm still in good shape.

I figured I would spend about 2-3 hours taking pictures each day, and I was pretty much spot on with that. However, I underestimated how much time it would take for me to upload the pics to my computer (which takes 1-2 hours) and then the time I've been spending processing the pictures. And, as I'm getting better at processing them, I'm spending more time doing it!

I'm way ahead of the game, blog post-wise, but I need to get reinvigorated on the photo taking/editing front. I have another photo class tonight, so hopefully I'll get an assignment or some ideas that will help me along the way.

  2. Kate, what about the pick a theme out of a hat idea we talked about. Focus on one particular thing--squirrels (you all have enough of them out there!), or all things red, (then you could go with all the colors), go get a dictionary and pick a word and go with that, doors, windows, cats, dogs, hats, smiling faces, eyes, noses, hands, feet, shoes, need more ideas? I don't think I'd worry about the editing so much. We don't edit in NaNoWriMo - that's not the idea--it's just to get the story out ROUGH. You just need to take the pictures. Pick your favorite and post it. Worry about all the editing, etc. later. Download those photos when you go to bed or something. Just throwing thoughts out there. You're doing great! Woot! Woot!

  4. You GO, Girlfriend! I'm so proud of you, Lynn. When you put your mind to a project you really do go for it. Yay!

I hope that someday I'll overcome my fears and have confidence in my writing ... but for now I'll just piddle around, doing the other things that I enjoy so much as I sneak in my little stories hear and there. Big hugs!!!!

  5. Thanks Victoria!
Tammy - Not so sure I'll be ahead of schedule with Thanksgiving in the picture!
Kathy - Put your fears aside and just go for it, but we should always do what we love and you obviously are doing that! Hugs back.
