The Artist's Way Give-A-Way

I shared The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron with my critique group. Sioux found a copy and suggested I give it away on my blog… perfect. I read The Artist’s Way and did the exercises with a group of friends about 20 years ago. It was inspiring and I always recommend it to people who seem to be stuck creatively… or who think they are not creative… or they desire to do something creative and don’t know where to begin.

So, are you interested? Would you like to receive this? Then make a comment so I can put your name in the hat and in a week, I’ll pull out a winner.

food for thought: Do you have a dream or a desire in the creative world? Why aren’t you doing something about it?

P.S. Thanks Sioux!

  3. I know this author...have read several of her books...do you know her one on dieting? I read the Artist Way one winter. So don't put my name in to win...think I still have my copy somewhere....

  4. Lynn--You're quite welcome. It's such a good book (I need to finish it AND follow its advice), and since you were so sweet to share it with us, I figured it was kismet (fate?) that I found a copy at a resale shop.

  5. I love that book and also have a copy (so don't enter me in the drawing either) but thanks for reminding me about it, because I have been in a creative "slump" lately and it just might be the think I need to get me back on track!

  7. Lisa, so far, looks like you're going to get your dream... seems everyone else that has commented about having their own copy.

  8. :) This is so sweet of you, Lynn, to offer the book. I think Lisa should get it, since I I'm overseas and I know it costs quite a bit to send a lager package over.
I'm really happy with receiving the occasional hand written letter and handmade cards from you, sweet friend!

  9. Hi Lynn, I enjoyed catching up with the neat things that you are doing. I love your sketching/drawing ideas! I couldn't have wrecked that thesaurus either. Thanks so much for stopping by to see me on my blog.
    Hugs,
